Kiln Loader/ Spray Apprentice

Red Rock Tileworks is a small and GROWING ceramic art tile business looking for a well rounded person with a great attitude to work in our production environment. Job duties will include setting up tile on trays, mixing glaze, spraying tile with automotive spray gun, washing tools, processing recycled water, and loading kilns. We are a small crew comprised of artists and good tilemakers and are looking for someone who wants to contribute to our growing company.

You might be right for this job if you:
*Have experience with a spray gun
*Have a general understanding of ceramics
*Have good rhythm
*Hard worker that can carry heavy loads (lift minimum of 50 lbs.). *lifting 5 gallon glaze buckets is a must!
*Are goal oriented and know how to get repetitious jobs done efficiently
*Have an eye for detail and take pride in doing a job right.
*Exude positivity and are willing to do whatever needs doing whether it is in your job description or not.
*Are creative and want to be a part of a growing creative company
*Can work efficiently and independently to get orders out on time
*Available to work overtime
*Want to work with cool people who appreciate you
*Like to listen to music while you work
*Can withstand the winter cold and summer heat
*Don't mind getting dirty and dusty in the clay and glaze

compensation: $16-20/hour, paid vacation after 1 year, 50/50 Health, Dental, Vision Insurance
